The Moment I saw this gull sitting on that barrel, I simply had to take a photo. At first, it even flew away, I was very disappointed that time, but it just flew a small round and then took its rest again on the floating barrel.... 
And I took the opportunity. I think it was in Liepaja, Latvia.
Took this photo in summer 2004.
