I simply had to do this. :D This is my very first attempt in creating a steampunk themed raygun. Also, I've never coloured anything like this before, it was a practise to create a vintage, old-metal texture, and I think I have got it right :D

Originally, this was an old waterpistol of direful neon colour, not very large, it is around 13cm/5.11inch in length. painted with acrylics and ink, clear coated and decorated.
I will now craft a wooden box with a glass front so that I can put it on my wall. :)

the next raygun, that is already in work, will be bigger. :XD:

See the production log at [link] :aww: (you can also see there how big it actually is)

not what I had envisioned, but still, it worked well. I rather like it :) although there are several things that I could have done better. :/ hmpf oh well, next time ^^

Would love to hear your comments.

Wow! This is awesome. You certainly have done a good job and I think it will look amazing in a wooden box with a glass front hanging on your wall. :-)

:omfg: I just checked out your production log. :faint: I thought it was a lot bigger than that. When you mentioned its size I expected to see something huge. :giggle: What an amazing job you have done. :-)

Looks awesome—I love the texture. One little inconsistancy, IMO, is that the copper wire looks a little too shiny compared to the pistol itself. Otherwise, very cool.
